HYTONE™ Natural Rubber Latex Tubing

HYTONE™ Natural Rubber Latex Tubing

Hytone Tubing

HYTONE™ Natural Rubber Latex Tubing is produced using a continuous dipped manufacturing process. Using this process allows us to produce a latex rubber tubing product with undetectable levels of latex protein. This process allows us to keep very tight tolerances. Natural rubber is inherently an environmentally friendly material and is biodegradable. It is harvested from live trees that do not have to be cut down, which makes it a renewable resource.

Sheeting

Sheeting is available in three different materials - synthetic rubber, natural rubber latex and thermoplastic elastomer.

Film

Film is available in two different materials - thermoplastic elastomer and natural rubber latex.

Straps

Tourniquet straps, leg straps and neck straps are offered in both natural rubber latex and synthetic rubber materials.

Tubing

Tubing is available in four different base materials - Natural Rubber, Thermoplastic Elastomer, Natural Rubber Latex & Synthetic Rubber.

Q: What is the difference between natural rubber and natural rubber latex tubing?
Natural rubber tubing is made from a dry natural rubber material.  Natural rubber latex tubing is made from liquid latex.  The physical properties between the two are similar but not exactly the same.

Q: What sizes of latex rubber tubing are available?
We can manufacture just about any size of ID and wall combination up to 0.625” (15.88mm) outside diameter.  Please call us for more details.

Q: Can you make latex rubber tubing in specific colors?
Yes, we can provide our latex rubber tubing that is custom matched to your color.

Q: What is your minimum order requirement on custom sizes and/or colors of latex rubber tubing?
The minimum order requirement will vary depending on the size and color.  Because this manufacturing process is designed for large, continuous runs, our minimum order requirements generally start around 4,000 feet (1,220m).

Q: Can this latex rubber tubing be used outdoors?
Latex rubber tubing can be greatly affected by sunlight and ozone.  It is generally not recommended for outdoor use but it can be used intermittently if proper care is taken to protect the tubing.  Call us for more details.
